November 2009

Moving into the holiday season, our rods seem to be spending more time on the rod holder than on the river! But with cooler temperatures and snow covering the ground ’tis the season’ as they say. For folks braving the cold, the standard Madison River nymphs with some heavy split shot have tempted many wild brown and rainbow trout hunkered down in their deep holes for the winter. We are already looking forward to opening back up in the spring for a fantastic 2010 season. Hope to see you then!
