Yee Haw ~ spring fly fishing is in full force in SW Montana and it is not disappointing! The rainbow trout are colored up magnificently. The wild brown trout are wonderfully aggressive. And the native whitefish are rounding out the day perfectly. Natural colored zonkers and olive/brown girdle bugs are producing great catches day after day. And of course, a cornucopia of nymphs seem to grab attention with some nice results. Typical of spring time, Mother Nature has given us lovely weather in the 60s, as well as snow ~ both in the same day! But, the trout don’t mind. The longer days have them on a feeding frenzy that’s not about to stop any time soon. Add that with our snowpack at about 100% of normal, and it looks like we can expect another stellar season at our Montana fly fishing lodge J What’s stopping you? Come join us!
