SPRING SPECIAL! SAVE 20% DURING VALID DATES
Spring fishing in SW Montana is highlighted by rapidly increasing water temperatures, especially in our home waters of the upper Madison River. The period between the end of March and early May is when the metabolism of a Madison River trout becomes hyperactive. The rainbows are the first to respond to temperatures greater than 40 degrees by gorging themselves on just about anything that floats by. Brown trout are usually a little late to the party, but come late April either species is fair game. During spring you can expect every weather condition imaginable. But you can count on fishing comfortably all day long with the proper layers and waders.
